With the recent departure of co-frontwoman Michelle DaRosa as she attempts to launch a solo career, now seems as good a time as any to examine an album largely ignored by the Punknews community, and for fairly good reason. Coincidentally, it is DaRosa who creates the more captivating moments on The Needles the Space, which wouldn't seem like good news for Straylight Run as they continue on without her.

I liked this album, but as with their other album, there is a lot that is unmemorable, but there are certainly some great songs here. This band is just "ok," but I like them a lot more than post-Nolan TBS. Yeah, Big Shot was an awesome song This band will never, ever top "Hands in the Sky (Big Shot)." I'm not into this band, but for a retrospective review, you didn't mention the two main things about it: Huh. That's a pity. I really liked what they did with their debut. oh fuck I've found that both Straylight Albums have been mainly mediocre with a few excellent standouts. Score is for the review. | Features
