It's a solid album, good stuff. I love the way you opened the review. Very clever and true, at least I hope. So many bands have hijacked what Josh does in his absense and made it crappier, now its time for him to come back and show how it's done. I think these songs are slower then some of the original smoking popes stuff, but I still think it is pretty rockin. Apparently, I can't spell. That was supposed to be "yourself" not "youself". Yeah, I gave it a listen and I wasn't particularly fond of it. Oh well, worth a listen to find out for youself though. im seeing them on wednesday the 10th. im pumped. loved the smoking popes, and what ive heard from duvall, i love them just as much. |
