Joey Cape (Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut) posts blog, unveils new project

Joey Cape has updated his Bad Astronaut Myspace blog and besides discussing the new year, he unveils his latest musical project.

Joey explained:

As far as my music goes, I've been super busy writing for my new project, "Afterburner" with Todd Capps of Bad Astronaut. Shouldn't be too long before we are able to post some works in progress on this site. We started recording this week. I think it will be very similar to Bad Astronaut. I have high hopes for the project.

He closes by noting that the myspace page is now hosting the original version of "Worst" which was originally recorded by Bad Astronaut before appearing in a final form on Lagwagon's Resolve. The song is available via this myspace page.
