Strike Anywhere's tour with Ignite, A Global Threat and Modern Life is War is getting underway and the band has launched a special contest for fans. Stay Vocal Clothing and Skateboards is teaming up with the band for a limited edition t-shirt design for the second half of the upcoming tour. Fan designs based on lyrics from "The Prisoner Echoes" could end up on a shirt and land the designer some cool stuff.
Click Read More for the contest guidlines and song lyrics. All submissions must be received by September 17th. The t-shirt will be a design relating to the song "The Prisoner Echoes", taken from Strike Anywhere's new CD, Dead FM. Try to make it as "Stay Vocal" a shirt as possible. The art must be sent via email to contest@stayvocal.com or uploaded and a link sent to us. 4. A permission form, giving all art rights to Stay Vocal, must be signed before prizes are received. THE PRISONER ECHOES(lyrics) Take the banner Hang it upside down this country's in distress from the schools to the factories on the dead edge of town this dream's a fucking mess Our sisters' and mothers' rights to choose and powers determined to fake the news this poison undertow the bigot's power grows when we put our will to sleep in the radiation of rioting pictures we let them jail and murder our sisters break out Up on the hill where the road is red if you look close enough Down in the valley we're the living dead while our hands are cracked and rough for every deception that the papers print to fortify their lie Our creativity always wins from now to the day we die I see the young revolutionaries changing clothes living in condition while the third world grows weary of supporting all the costume changes all right Anthems for New World Disorder hammers to the bricks and mortar consciousness in crisis it's up to you So what are you gonna do? When we put our will to sleep under the blankets of patriot colors we let them jail and murder our brothers break out Up on the hill where the road is red if you look close enough Down in the valley we're the living dead while our hands are cracked and rough for every deception that the papers print to fortify their lie Our creativity always wins from now to the day we die Take this banner Hang it upside down this country's in distress Fat Wreck Chords (14 comments)

I imagine they'll get lots of entries that are just that one anti-flag album cover with the upside flag, only shittier.

Stay Vocal is one amazing skate and clothing company. They have awesome stuff and put out a great message. I can't wait to see what this SA t-shirt looks like. 1+ Reply

this is a great deal for Stay Vocal. they get to screen a shirt every punk kid will buy, and all it costs them is a pair of free t-shirts and a deck. haha. smart cookies.
