Against Me! has announced some tour dates this fall with support from Matt & Kim and David Dondero. The shows are in support of the band's recent and completely uncontroversial major label debut, New Wave.

it's good man, people need to relax a little bit and enjoy it for what it is; a really good record that says a lot of things that no one is saying in most of the mainstream music industry. i think we can all agree that we all had that "first band that got us into punk" band that maybe isn't the most underground band in the world. if AM can be that for people who would otherwise not listen to undergound music...good.

for most people, this goes double for the people who post on here, i believe green day was that first band (though some of the younger kids it might have been blink 182) when you think about it like that, having against me! be the one for some kids would be a good thing

i'm not a huge fan of Matt & Kim, and I don't know this other dude, but Against Me! by far puts together the best package tours of any band out there.

I'm not the guy you're responding to, but AM!, Lucero, Grabass Charlestons and Mike Park (I believe he was So Cal only) was an awesome couple of shows...

Other than that I'm not sure I agree with him. Their next tour after that one was with the Blood Brothers.
