NOFX plans "They've Actually Gotten Worse" live record

NOFX has announced a title and some details about their upcoming live album. The disc will be the second live album from the veteran punk act, with the previous, I Heard They Suck Live, released nearly twelve years ago.

Though no track listing has been released, the album is culled from three nights of talking mixed with the occasional song at Slim's in San Francisco and will not include any material from Suck Live but will include new versions of old songs and rare tracks. A late 2007/early 2008 date is expected.

They released Wolves in Wolves' Clothing in 2006.

yep you're right...only one unreleased song on the Swingin Uters one and it was a cover. (I got your number). I don't know for Lagwagon because I am not a big fan of them anymore...

Just got back from warped tour. BR was amazing, Flogging Molly was great, NFG was a lot of fun, and Sum41 was good but they dicked around for half of their set.saw big D too, they were awesome. fun day. p.s, why do fat people wear Jnco pants in 103 degree heat? or ever?

I wanna hear Linoleum...every time I see them it's either the Brews or Perfect Government. They even had a reggae (however the hell that is spelled) version of Reeko. I know they don't wanna play Drublic every night but I've seen em five times...throw me a freakin bone here

It would be funny if they found themselves being "the older kids" at the show, surrounded by kids with flat-ironed emo hair. It would be totally relatable to all the kids who came up listening to that album who are now "the older kids".

In my experience, I have found that to not be the truth. I have seen people go to shows of bands that they don't even like, just so they can go to a punk show.

i love that cd, mostly because there are a ton of really good short songs.

One Celled Creature, The Man I Killed, Benny Got Blowed Up, Wolves in Wolves Clothing, and 60% Reprise all rule and are under 2 mins.

I've always liked NOFX (save for their first couple of albums), but the last record was a big fucking disappointment. I swear it was nothing more than a bunch of unreleased material from previous records (post So Long....) all crammed on to one record and labeled as "new". What a crock of shit.

Well let's see....

He said it was nothing but Unreleased material from other albums post SLATFATS. So that would mean anywhere from 1998 to about 2004 since the last album came out in 2006. Since all of those guys died AFTER that, well then that negates his entire argument. Thus you're both morons. Him for thinking that in the first place and you for defending him. And I'm a moron for actually explaining it to you guys in the first place. I'm also a "gay fag" who likes emo music. There...now every comeback that I see on this site has been thrown my way by me.

i know heavy petting zoo isn't one of their best records, but there definitely should have been a good 2 or 3 songs from that on here, especially since the last live record was out before it came out. in addition, they really should add a lot from their so long... album like the desperation's gone, 180 degrees, all outta angst, kill rock stars, etc.

Heavy Petting Zoo stuff gives mixed reactions from the crowd so they stay away from stuff outside of Hobophobic usually. I saw them in 2002 and the did Love Story, the crowd just stood there not sure of what they should do. They kind moved for the faster end part but when it was done Fat Mike said "uh...yeah I don't think we're gonna be doing that one again on this tour." I've only seen them do that, Hobo, and Release The Hostages.

Heavy petting zoo is pretty underrated, IMO. Songs like Freedom Like a Shopping Cart and Drop the World are amazing.

I heard 'em play the punk version of "Scavenger Type" once, it remains one of the best songs I've heard them do live.
