Rise Records signs Take The Crown, The Hollowed

Rise Records has announced the signing of both The Hollowed and Take the Crown.

The latter band recently added Juan Pereda, drummer formerly of Taken and Name Taken.

The bands will be releasing their debuts for the label in the Spring of 2008.

so, having never heard of any of these bands, my impression is that juan pereda likes to take things? or things which are taken?

i dont really like take the crown but juan pereda is a really solid drummer. I'll have to check it out once they get some songs from their full length up.

Damn it I thought this was an article saying the Crown got back together when I first read it. Disappointing.
