I've played 3 shows with facing new york in my life, they are an amazing band, and though this sucks for them, TBS is picking up a QUALITY musician and performer. they toured with TBS a few years back, and I always had a sense that FNY had a taking back sunday vibe, even before that was popular and trendy. I am buying this album the hour it comes out.

Reading this made me start listening to "Tell All Your Friends" for the first time in a long time, and I'm currently having a hard time listening to something else. Will anyone get my Emogame reference when I say that I wish their ovaries weren't so damn big?

I was introduced to FNY when someone told me they sound like Minus the Bear. They were right but I don't really listen to them that much anymore. Good for him but I hope FNY stays together, I'd like a chance to see them.

Mark can remember when he and Adam were attached at the hip. They were always seen with one another. They were a package deal, his mother joked, buy one, get one free. Things changed this year. Adam found that he had a new taste for popularity, and Mark just wasn't cutting it. Somehow Mark understood. Sure, it hurt him and he hated to be alone, but Adam seemed happy, and that is why Mark to a leave of absence in Adam's daily life.

Fingers shaking, he reaches for the loose floorboard and pulls out a straight edge razor, huge, sharp, and glinting seductively in the light. Mark briefly wonders if he's jumping to conclusions, and that Adam would see past his little taste of fame, and come back to him. He shakes that thought with a deep breath. Now or never. Would his parents miss him? Or would they miss someone to take the blame of their petty fights. Part of him wonders if Adam got his note, left in his locker after 7th period. It wasn't a typical suicide note; it was just a long thought delayed good-bye.

As he presses the blade to his skin and slices his arm lengthwise, enjoying the sting, watching the little rivets of blood snake their way on his wrist, the door opens with a snap.

Adam is standing in front of him, out of breath. He rips off his shirt and without a word, presses it down on Mark's fresh wound, stopping the blood flow. He pulls him in a tight embrace and whispers, lips brushing Mark's ear, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. We'll make through this. I promise. I swear."

Mark can see the guilty tears leaking from Adam's warm, brown eyes and doesn't say anything. He just buries himself deeper in Adam's long lost embrace, savoring. He closes his eyes and wills himself to be saved.

i read this as "taking back sunday recruit facing (as in, facing off against) new york guitarist"
my bets are on the random new york guitarist.
