Tours: No Knife to support Jimmy Eat World

San Diego post-punk outfit No Knife have announced some reunion performances in early 2009. Three of the shows will be supporting Jimmy Eat World's Clarity 10th Anniversary dates.

It's certainly not a new idea. I went to one of the alkaline trio ones and the set didn't really pick up until they finished goddamnit and started playing old b-sides and shit. I just think the audience gets bored, the band gets bored and everyone gets surly.

I guess this is one of the few times living on the east coast sucks. No Knife is one of my favorite bands. I didn't really enjoy either solo CD Ryan released.

I looooove No Knife. Very underappreciated.

My fav. track of theirs? "Bad Landing", the 7-minute song on "Hit Man Dreams". Simply amazing. I also really enjoy their song "Brush Off".

Of course, Jimmy Eat World rules!
