Bad Religion, NOFX, Rise Against, Misery Signals to headline Japan's Punk Spring 2009

Bad Religion, NOFX, Rise Against, Misery Signals, Sum 41, Madina Lake and others will be headlining next year's Punk Spring festival. The festival is an annual concert that takes place in Japan combining some of the most popular artists in heavy music and punk.

I take the straight edge messages in the music I listen to as "everything in moderation." When Gorilla Biscuits ask me "how strong's your will?" I answer "strong enough to not smoke weed every day anymore, just when it's time for celebration or relaxation." I need to fiind a hookup on ecstasy down here though, I wouldn't mind rolling balls every day again like I did for the month after Detroit Electronic Music Festival.

Besides the vocals, I really dig Re-Education. Actually I like Tim's vocals on the line before the chorus. I wouldn't say they're awful, just really, really, really, really boring.

I really fail to see how this last album was any worse than the Sufferer and the Witness. Pretty much they are even to me. However, I didn't really like that album, so whatever.

The Unraveling was cool though. And Siren Songs, purely because State of the Union.

I'm sure it will happen like every other punk vocalist, but I hope Tim goes solo soon, I actually really like that acoustic song on the new cd, by far the best song on it. As long as he doesn't take pointers from Greg Graffin though.

As pretty much a Misery Signals fanboy I gotta disagree. With that being said I think Misery Index is a great band, the lastest album is ridiculous. Both bands are on my top ten list for the year.
