Dropkick Murphys have announced H2O as support on their recently announced tour. The two bands will be hitting the road together next February and March. The Dropkicks issued The Meanest of Times in 2007. H2O released their long-awaited new full length, Nothing to Prove, in 2008.

Never really was into H20, but I really dig Nothing to Prove. 3+ Replies

I've yet to see either of these bands in my lifetime, so fuck it I'm gonna go. The only H20 album I've ever like is F.T.T.W. though so I hope they play some shit from that. Dropkick is probably a good time 3+ Replies

Would it kill one fucking band to come to NC? I'm not even that into DKM or H2O, but I mean, come on, there are hardly any good shows anywhere in this state. 1+ Reply

Guess this is my punishment for not seeing H2O a little while ago with Bane. 3+ Replies

The only time I've ever seen H2O was when they opened for Sum 41 when I was 12 or 13 years old. I still find it funny to this day that they opened for Sum 41. 7+ Replies

that's cool, a straight edge band on tour with a band whose songs sound like what beer tastes like. 15+ Replies

Has there been any word on a new DK Murphy's full length (said Jacknife737, wearing an Irishpride shirt with the collar popped, while a leprecon pours him a pint of Guinness) 3+ Replies

You know what's an awesome show? The Life and Times of Tim. It's fucking hilarious. It's like an R-rated Napoleon Dynamite that's cheaply drawn. 3+ Replies

One of the consistantly great live bands out there right now. My favorite DKM stuff was with Mike McColgan anyway, so it made perfect sense that the Street Dogs would be just as good, if not better and to me, I'm right. I see them whenever I can, can't wait for the new album.

Their last pass through the Midwest with Angel City Outcasts and Everybody Out would have been worth seeing. I wish that had come to the Congress then instead of this tour. 1+ Reply

Every so often I hear that DKM supposedly "doesn't like their new fans (from The Departed obviously)", so charging on average $25 per ticket for DKM, H20 and Civit is really a way to keep the punks in and the new fans out? 2+ Replies
nick_s (December 4, 2008)
Last Time I saw DKM was with the Living End supporting. DKM were good but the Living End blew them off stage. It's always funny to see the pseudo Irish guys so drunk they can't stand up.

I sat next to Rusty (guitar player in H20) on a flight to NY once. He was a super nice guy. My Dad thought he was a nice guy too, but he hated his tattoos. Parents just don't understand. | Features
