That BYO box set is incredibly amazing. The songs are all great, the book is a fun read, and the documentary is really entertaining. Might be my favorite release this year.

It was terrible. I didn't enjoy him in any of the movies. He had his moments I guess. Knowing Brent Spiner is a douchebag doesn't help either.

He was terrible in the movies. He just didn't work well as a comedic character but the writers just kept trying to force that on him.

Congress is in on saturday. I'll be working. I hate Riker the most of any of them. I know that will pain you but I can't stand his character. Nothing should focus on that ass-hat. Picard is where the money was.

The Riker drinking game is brilliant in its simplicity and what made me love his character. You watch him in every scene, even if he's just in the background. Drink every time he does something weird. It is often.

Some recurring examples include his way of walking when he leaves a room. He swings his arms stiffly and swiftly, and it seems to only happen when he makes his exit from the bridge. He cannot stop himself from propping a foot up on an object if it is at a height to do so. There are tons of scenes where he's talking to someone at their station on the bridge and his crotch is all up on them because of this. And then there are glaring obvious things like his weird faces when people make jokes, whenever he plays the trombone, etc.

new strike anywhere sucks. i'm sorry. but it does. not the entire record but a good portion of it. it's predictable and resembles too much of dead fm. DFM pulls it off though. this however does not cut it.

wayyyyy overdone (can't even say enough about the vocals). abandoning experimentation and regressing as a result. and the music is not fueled by positive anger anymore. but i'm quite sure their touring across the world has affected their writing.

please and stop recording at salad days, damn it!

sorry, just not my taste. and anyone who says this is their best record is a goddamn idiot.

It doesn't suck. Its a good record. Did it regress a bit? Sure. Do I like it better than Dead FM? No. But its still in rotation.

hey i didn't say i think the entire record sucks now. i most likely am taking it personal. this has been one of my favorite bands since i can remember. i think many of who have followed this band for quite some time can agree. they could have done away with a lot of the songs and simply recorded an ep. the record drags out entirely too much and the songs are lacking! admit it.

There's a band from Holland called Cooper that just put out an album called "Right Now". I just found it on a blog, and it is easily gonna be in at leats my top 20 this year, if not top ten. The description was "Descendents/ALL/Down By Lawn/Beatles on speed", but I'd describe it as "how I wish Bracket sounded all the time".
