It's the dust buring. It happens when you haven't turned on the heater for a while.

Yeah, that should only happen once, dude. Like the other dude said, it's just the dust burning off the heater. If there's a "faintly singed smell" every time you turn on the heater, I'd check to make sure nothing's sitting/resting in/on the heater(s) somewhere.

besides vague recollections of being rolled in to "Splash" as a toddler, it is the first movie I ever saw in the theater. Best disney movie ever. Seriously have the main theme (Mancini) on my ipod.

I'll call it now. Iron Chic feels a lot like Banner Pilot with Pass The Poison and Dear Landlord with their early splits and 7".

They're a band that totally have the potential to put out a full length that leaves the org swooning.

And I liked Shitty Rambo alot but I didn't see them at Fest this year so I haven't heard any of the new songs live. They played a phenomenal show at the Kickstand at Fest 7

I went to that Kickstand show. They were great. The singer looked like a drunk ewok. Totally agree about not being as good as the demo. They can be really great as long as the don't dissolve like Get Bent.

I feel the same exact way. There's some bands I just know I would look like an embecile trying to review. Then there are those bands or albums that I would be way too biased based on personal importance (like Dookie) to try and give a balanced opinion.
