Kevin Lyman, creator of the Vans Warped Tour has announced a new winter festival tour called the "Taste Of Chaos." Set to begin in February 2005, the tour will be an annual event. Lyman has conceived the tour to be a multi-artist, multi-media traveling extravaganza similar to the Warped Tour.

The first iteration of the tour will feature The Used, though additional bands and dates are expected shortly.

Says Lyman, "'Taste Of Chaos' will combine amazing entertainment with value for the fans, something I've been a proponent of my whole career." "Taste Of Chaos" will be hitting arenas and ballrooms across the United States and Canada. According to Lyman, "Music will not be the only thing on the menu, there will be plenty to do, see, and hear. Fans should expect some interesting surprises!"

Anchoring the inaugural year of "Taste Of Chaos" will be Reprise recording artist, The Used. "The Used scream diversity, equality, and a good time," says Lyman, adding, "most importantly, The Used preach their love of music during every show, and to have them launch this tour in its first year is more than fitting." The Used's new album, In Love And Death was released September 28, and quickly shot to number 6 on the Billboard Top 200 chart (and number 4 on the Canadian Top 200). The first single "Take It Away" is all over FUSE, MTV and radio. Currently, they are gracing the cover of two national music magazines, Alternative Press and Revolver magazine. In short, the Used are everywhere. Singer Bert McCracken says, "We've cut our teeth on the Warped Tour and we are really excited to be able to play in the first year of 'Taste Of Chaos.' Any time we can perform with other amazing bands and the kids don't have to pay all of their hard earned cash to see them is a great thing. Kevin Lyman is a smart motherfucker." The Used is currently on a headline tour of North America.
