Long Island ska punk band The Arrogant Sons of Bitches are calling it quits for the foreseeable future due to tensions within the band. Check their November 17th news post on their website for some insight into the split. The band will play two shows this month (one all ages and one 18+) on November 27th at Mr. Beery's in Levittown, NY. ASOB's new album, which has been in the works over the past year, will be released sometime in the near future.

When asked if these upcoming shows would be their last, Jeff Rosenstock commented:

"We hope not. We are planning to release the record somehow and we would like to do a tour off of it. However, we are all going our separate ways personally which might lead to a problem in getting us all in the same location to play shows. So I guess a good thing to say is that these are our only shows that are scheduled right now. We don't have a schedule of when our album is gonna "drop" or any tours waiting for us in the wings. I would recommend going to all shows."
