The Riverboat Gamblers have announced two shows to close out the year. On December 25th the band will play at Trees in Dallas with Hagfish and Max Caddy (Hagfish thus returning to their annual tradition of playing hometown X-Mas shows). Following that on New Years Eve the Riverboat Gamblers will appear at Emos in Austin with Applicators, The Good Looks, and Ritchie Whites.

The band just released a new split 7" picture disc with Japan's Electric Eel Shock on Gearhead Records. They recorded demos earlier this year with Rory Philips (from The Impossibles/Slowreader) for a future release on a yet unnamed label.

In more Gearhead news, the label is selling all of their compact disc releases for a paltry five dollars each from now until January 15th. Click here to peruse their catalog.
