Music Video Distributors recently released a Dead Boys DVD titled Live At CBGB's 1977. The footage was shot by counterculture artist Rod Swenson, who filmed the Ramones, Dead Boys, Blondie, Patti Smith among others, and would go on to create the Plasmatics with Wendy O. Williams. At the request of CBGB's Hilly Krystal and Ed Seaman of Music Video Distributors, Swenson was able to locate most of the original masters and agreed to their restoration and release.

Live At CBGB's 1977 features footage of the band performing "Sonic Reducer," "All This and More," "Not Anymore," "Revenge," "Flame Thrower Love," "I Need Lunch," "Ain't Nothin' to Do," "What Love Is," "High Tension Wire" and "Search & Destroy." Bonus materials include interviews with the band circa `77, promotional clips, new interviews with Cheetah Chrome and Hilly Kristal, and the alternate angle "Johnny Blitz-cam." We've got a handful of these DVDs to give away thanks to the folks at MVD, so click below to enter the draw!
