Magic Bullet Records band The Crimson Spectre and Slave Magazine recording artists Uwharria are both currently playing with Red Tipa, formerly of Oi Polloi. Red played in Oi Polloi in the early to mid 90s, and now resides in Greensboro, home of both Crimson Spectre and Uwharria. Taking advantage of the shared member, the bands are planning to record a split CD written collaboratively in the next few months, for release on Magic Bullet. It looks like Jeff Gaither of Accused art fame will be preparing the cover art for the release .
