Members of the Honor System form WHALE|HORSE, recording for Black Box compilation

Dan and Tyler of The Honor System, which is currently on hiatus, have formed WHALE|HORSE with Jason from the Pines and Jordan, formerly of The Ghost. Their label, Grey Flight described the band as "similar to Girls Against Boys and Jawbox."

The band will be playing a show at The Bottom Lounge, Chicago on March 18, 2005 with Silkworm.

In Grey Flight news, the band has announced a list of bands for their upcoming Black Box compilation, which like the OIL package released by Thick, will bring together a number of artists, including the Lawrence Arms, Colossal, Hanalei and more, to record new tracks at the same studio in Chicago.
