Lawrence, Kansas's the Esoteric lost their home, studio, and practice space to a house fire on Tuesday morning around 3:00 A.M., leaving three members of the band homeless and without food and clothes. All of the band's equipment, merchandise, and recording gear was destroyed as well. The band plans on continuing with their tour dates planned for March through May.

No one was injured in the fire, and no definitive cause has been found, though area department investigators suspect faulty electrical wiring.

The band is accepting donations through Paypal at info@the-esoteric.com, and at the Love Garden Sounds record store in Lawrence, KS, located upstairs at 936 1/2 Mass St.

Prosthetic will be releasing the band's label debut on April 19th, titled With The Sureness Of Sleepwalking.
