A number of defunct acts are planning reunion shows.

First up, a one-time only reunion of Long Island's Silent Majority for a show at the Downtown in Farmingdale, NY. The band, who formed in 1990 and broke up in 2000, released a full length on Exit Records entitled Life of a Spectator in 1997 and an EP on Initial Records titled You Would Love to Know in 1999. The May 22nd show is a benefit for cancer and the band will be joined by Milhouse, Crime in Stereo and Thieves.

Seattle's Trial are planning a reunion show. The band broke up after their last release on Equal Vision titled Are These Our Lives?. Though no date has been selected yet, guitarist Timm McIntosh added that

I don't know when it will happen, but more than likely, the soonest would probably be fall. This summer is filled with reunions, and that almost makes us think that waiting until next year might be a better idea. Either way, there will be one more Trial show in the future. I hope this clears the rumors, there's nothing more or less to this.

Late 90s ska-punk band Edna's Goldfish will also be reuniting for a benefit show in Long Island, NY. The band saw its members go on to play in Catch 22, The Reunion Show, The Keepaway, and Greystar. They will be joined by the Arrogant Sons of Bitches and High School Football Heroes at The Crazy Donkey with a tentative date of April 3rd. Proceeds from the benefit will be going towards paying for for Edna's member Vinnie McAuliffe's younger brother James' cancer treatment.

Finally, Bridge 9 hardcore act, Carry On, who released A Life Less Plagued in 2001 and broke up shortly after, never played a final show. After several years, the band will reunite to play two shows with Champion on June 1st and 2nd at the Showcase Theater in Corona, CA. Members of Carry On went on to form Snake Eyes who are currently with 1917 Records.
