Shane MacGowan has announced further reunion shows with the Pogues. The band will head to Japan for three confirmed dates in July. The frontman most recently rejoined his old band for a week of shows in December 2004.

The Pogues are currently supporting a recently released best-of collection titled The Ultimate Collection. The two CD set was released in Europe earlier this month and feature a disc of the band's hits along with a live CD recorded in Brixton in 2001.
