The Slackers are returning to action after a break and are preparing to hit the road later this month. The band has lined up some easy coast US dates, a visit to Venezuela, and a tour that will run through New England, Ontario, Quebec, Illinois and Ohio. The finale of the tour will be the band's first headlining slot at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
In the studio work continues on a the Slackers' follow up to 2003's Close My Eyes. The band's dub CD is finished and should be out in the late summer. Mixing was also recently completed on a live CD recorded on their Japanese tour. Release details for all these albums are pending.
