Eyeball has signed Mermaid in a Manhole. The band includes most of the Oval Portrait, who split after the departure of their vocalist in last year.. The label promises "doom, black, and hardcore metal" and that "Mermaid is like listening to the mood swings of a very over-worked and very manic depressive Angel of Death."

The band will release an EP later this year and has posted a handful of tracks on their myspace page.
