Maverick writes : I saw Hot Water Music last night in Iowa City, and afterwards some friends and I had a few words with Chuck of HWM. He confirmed the HWM/Alk3 splits, but it's going to be more than just one 7". He said that first off, each band will write and record some originals. Then each band will write songs for the other band and record songs written for them by the other band. But it doesn't stop there. Then he said that each band will cover some of each other's older songs, and after that, the bands will be EXCHANGING MEMBERS and recording all new songs! This all came straight from Chuck's mouth, and he didn't seem *too* drunk. This might end up being a split CD, or a series of splt 7"s, but either way, we're all going to be in for a treat.
