Burning Heart Records has signed Swedish punk four piece the Accidents. The label describes them as combining "the devastating power of the 50'ies rock with the ravishing grimness of 77' style punkrock" influenced by the likes of Gene Vincent, the Shakers, Johnny Thunders and Black Flag. The band will release a yet untitled new record on October 10th of this year. It will be recorded this summer at Studio Soundlab in Örebro and will follow up 2004's Bootleg Booze released All Time High. The Accidents features former members of Voice of a Generation (Danny Violence and Kim Belly, although they've since taken on new stage names).
