Story of the Year has set an October 11th release date for In the Wake of Determination, the upcoming full length follow up to Page Avenue and the Live in the Lou/Bassassins CD+DVD release. The band promises to be "heavier and more guitar driven" than on their debut. The record was produced by Steve Evetts (The Cure, Hatebreed, Saves The Day, Dillinger Escape Plan.)

They have also posted the first single from the record, titled "We Don't Care Anymore" on their myspace.com page.

The band is currently performing at the Warped Tour and will be co-headlining the upcoming Taste of Chaos International tour.
