Western Addiction recently entered the studio with producer Alex Newport (At the Drive-In, The Break, The Locust) to begin work on their upcoming debut for Fat. The record, titled Cognicide is expected on November first and follows their split with New Mexican Disaster Squad.

The band is currently documenting the process with pictures and commentary, and you can find that on their studio journal.

WA has also posted their track from the recent Rock Against Floyd compilation. The song is titled "The Church of Black Flag" and it can be found on their myspace page.
