Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Arcade Fire are among the bands nominated for Woodie of the Year, one of the categories in the MTVu "Woodie" awards.

Other nominees include Motion City Soundtrack and the Decemberists in the Breaking category, mewithoutYou in the Left Field category, Death Cab for Cutie and My Chemical Romance for Live Action Video, Rilo Kiley and Arcade Fire for Animated Video, Fall Out Boy for Road, Green Day for Alumni, Bloc Party for International and Hawthorne Heights for Streaming.

Voting is open to college students and closes on October 28th. You can vote here.
