Head Automatica will soon enter the studio to begin work on the follow up to their 2004 debut, Decadence. The band will be working on the untitled record with producer Howard Benson and production manager Robert Nelson will be filming the process for an documentary on the making of the record.

Bassist Jarvis Morgan Holden had this to say:

Starting Saturday we will rendezvous and begin recording a new record. […] Daryl will be singing. I will be recording the bass tracks. Larry will be drumming. Jessie will be playing organs, keys, piano, farfisa, and whatever else he's got. And of course, Craig Bon will be on the main guitar. Also Chauncey Johnson will be in an out of session providing entertainment and creative energy. F. Sean Martin will be providing personal counseling and inspiration to all of us. Cage Kennylz will definitely be doing something sketchy. El-P will be doing a little collaborating and some future remixes of some of the cuts.

Some the songs you will probably hear on the album are, "Graduation Day," "Secret Warz(with a Z)," "Scandalous," "Chantel," "K Horse," "Cannibal Girl" and a bunch more.

The band hopes to complete the record by January and is aiming for a Spring release. While the band will stop touring for the duration of recording, they do promise the occaisonal show in the Southern California area.
