The Unite the United charity project from Warped Tour/Taste of Chaos organizers has resurfaced, albeit in a different form from the original planned concert series.

Originally,a show featuring The Used, Rise Against, Taking Back Sunday, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Hoobastank, The Bled, Disturbed, Cinderella, Hepcat, Sugarcult, Anti-Flag, Eighteen Visions, Hatebreed, MxPx, the Dan Band, Go Betty Go and others was planned to be held on October 8th.

The organization is now auctioning off memorabilia donated by bands including No Doubt, Green Day, the Ramones, Bad Religion, Def Leppard, Ozzy Ozbourne, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311 and many more, to be sold on eBay for hurricane relief.

The auction began earlier this week and will continue for the next five weeks. Over the course of the undertaking, additional autographed and collectible memorabilia will be added, with all profits going to the Habitat For Humanity earmarked for Hurricane Katrina and Gulf Coast aid to rebuild homes for those left homeless.
