According to MTV.com, Death from Above 1979 has finished the followup to 2004's You're a Woman, I'm a Machine. Few details have been released, but bassist Jesse Keeler has mentioned the album is "four hours long." A release is expected on Vice some time in 2006.

Prior to the proper followup's release, the band will see Romance, Bloody Romance drop on November 22nd, a remix album of reworkings by figures such as Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, Arcade Fire member Owen Pallett and Test Icicles' Sam Merrann.

The band is currently on tour supporting Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age.
