Good Riddance set to record in January

As a follow up to a story from June of this year, Good Riddance has announced some more concrete plans for their upcoming full length. The band is currently writing material and plans to enter the studio in January to begin recording the album with Bill Stevenson at Motor Studios.

The band, who recently launched a myspace page are aiming for a June 2006 release. It will be their first new record since Bound by Blood and Affection which was released in 2003.

They previously announced that drummer Sean Sellers, who played with the band from 1995 through 1999 had rejoined the long-running Fat Wreck Chords act.

While the band has not released any new material since 2003, members of the band have kept busy with vocalist Russ Rankin joining Only Crime to release To the Nines, guitarist Luke Pabich and drummer Sean Sellers forming Outlie to release Companions to Devils and Saints . Bassist Chuck Platt joined I Want Out who released a split with Creep Division.
