There's a few notable screenings coming up for Liz Nord's documentary Jericho's Echo: Punk Rock in the Holy Land. The film is just wrapping up a week long theatrical release at Toronto's Bloor Cinema, the final showing taking place this Tuesday November 15th. On December 3rd the film will be shown at the Washington DC Jewish Film Festival. Following that it will make its European premier at the Dream and Trauma Programme in Berlin, Germany. Liz recently appeared on New York's WB11 morning news show to promote the film, a clip of which can be found on the its website.

Jericho's Echo documents the current situation in Israel via the perspective of the punk scene, and includes topics ranging from the Israeli Religious Right, to suicide bombings and the future of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The film includes appearances from more than a dozen Israeli bands, including acts like Useless ID and Man Alive.
