After taking some understandable time to recover and grieve from tragic circumstances which saw a number of injuries and the death of Bayside drummer, John Holohan, singer/guitarist Anthony Raneri and guitarist Jack O'Shea have resumed the Never Sleep Again tour.

Bassist Nick Ghanbarian continues to recover from his injuries, Ghanbarian fractured his L4 vertebrae, and is fortunate to not be permanently paralyzed, however he will require time to recover and is currently on strong painkillers.

Ranieri had this to say to the many fans and friends who have supported the band since the tragedy:

We really appreciate the donations and massive amount of mail from fans sharing their sorrow over the loss of John. It's amazing to know how many lives he touched.

He earlier explained the reasoning for continuing on the tour, saying:

Beatz loved this tour and this is something that we need to do for ourselves, for our band and for John Beatz, who would kick my ass if I didn't finish up what he gave his life for.

The duo will be performing together in the style of "Don't Call Me Peanut," a similarly structured track from their 2005 release, Bayside.
