The New Amsterdams, which notably includes Matt Pryor of defunct act, The Get Up Kids, will be posting a new live or studio track in the audio/video section on their site, each week until the release of their new album, Story Like a Scar. The record will be their first full length since 2003's Worse for Wear.

It also follows the online release of Killed or Cured this past July for which retail plans were shelved after the band solidified a new four-person lineup.

The first track available is a live, acoustic performance recorded at Mike Dubin's on October 29th, 2005. You can check out the show as a downloadable file here.

The band also have a few dates booked including a benefit show for The Lawrence Community Nursery School that will feature The New Amsterdams alter ego The Terrible Twos performing the children's music Pryor has also been working on.
