Boston hardcore outfit Guns Up! have finished tracking their new album with producer Jim Seigel (Blacklisted, Converge [engineering], Drowningman [engineering]) at The Outpost in Stoughton, MA. The 11-song record, currently in its final mixing stage, will feature ten new tracks and one cover song, and is titled Outlive.

Guitarist Mike Kinlin mentioned the following:

I can honestly say that I am more excited about this record than anything we've created so far, both in terms of song quality and in terms of recording quality. This record is more dynamic - it's heavier, it's faster, and believe it or not, it's more melodic.

A release for Outlive is expected on 1917 Records in April or May 2006. It'll follow up the band's recent EP/mini-album, All This Is.
