A number of Fat Wreck Chords acts are in the studio preparing 2006 releases. NOFX have been working on the follow up to 2003's War on Errorism with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore at Motor Studios in San Francisco. You can find pictures of the band, who are currently playing shows in Japan, working with the prolific production team at the NOFX Bore Journal. Expect the new full length in April.

The Lawrence Arms' third Fat release, Oh! Calcutta!, now has a release date of March 7th. The band had partly mixed the record, which was recorded on analogue with producer Matt Allison, before departing for their current dates supporting Lagwagon.

Many of the label's new signings are hard at work as well. The Loved Ones are finishing up their debut full length with producer Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Thrice) and are expecting to release Keep Your Heart on February 21st. The Sainte Catherines will record with Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, the Locust) in their hometown of Montreal for a March release. That month will also see the release of Love Equals Death's Nightmarica (which is itself another Bill Stevenson / Jason Livermore production).
