Vocalist Jimmy Ryan has left Haste the Day. The singer made this statement:

I've decided to leave the band. Before anyone jumps to any conclusions, it was my own decision. I feel like this chapter in my life is coming to a close and it is time for me to move on. The guys in my band are my best friends and my brothers and my decision to leave has been a difficult one. I will miss them quite a bit as they continue on and as the band continues to grow as I am confident it will.

Ryan plans to complete the ongoing tour with labelmate He Is Legend, From First To Last and Dead Reckless. His last recording with the band is 2005's When Everything Falls
