On December 6th Music Video Distributors will release All Dolled Up, a collection of New York Dolls footage shot by famed rock photographer Bob Gruen. The documentary captures the band in early performances at NYC clubs Kenny's Castaways and Max's Kansas City as well as west cost appearances at the Whisky A Go Go, the Real Don Steele Show, Rodney Bingenheimer's E Club and more.

The folks at MVD have thrown together an entire Johnny Thunders prize pack for you to win. In the early 70's, rock photographer Bob Gruen and his wife Nadya purchased a portable video recorder. In a period of three years they shot over 40 hours of New York Dolls footage. Now for the first time ever this footage is unveiled. This feature length documentary captures the band during early performances in New York at Kenny's Castaways and Max's Kansas City, then follows the Dolls on their tour of the west coast, including footage from the Whisky A Go Go, the Real Don Steele Show, Rodney Bingenheimer's E Club and much more. Thunders Kane & Nolan - You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory

On January 4th, 1987, core New York Dolls members Johnny Thunders, Arthur "Killer" Kane, and Jerry Nolan performed an informal reunion at the Roxy in LA. Sadly, of the three, only Arthur Kane lived long enough to briefly enjoy the Dolls formal reunion. This piece of Rock and Roll history features 18 songs including electric and rare acoustic performances; an essential for any Dolls or Thunders fan.

What About Me

WHAT ABOUT ME portays the gradual deterioration of Lisa Napolitano (Rachel Amodeo) a young women forced to exist on the streets, intermingling with the outcasts of society. Along the way she encounters a shell-shocked Vietnam veteran, Nick (Richard Edson); a nihilistic East Village, Tom (Nick Zedd); and a sympathetic good samaritan, Paul (Richard Hell). WHAT ABOUT ME was filmed in black and white on location in Tompkins Square Park and the Lower East Side. Gregory Corso, Judy Carne, Johnny Thunders, Jerry Nolan and Dee Dee Ramone appear in addition to the homeless residents of the park. The soundtrack includes music by Johnny Thunders.
