Samiam has canceled their upcoming performance at Polar Fest. According to the band, several conditions were not met by the promoter, forcing them to cancel. However the decision appears to have been largely academic, as put forth by the band, as they had to cancel another show in San Francisco, since singer Jason is currently in a face cast after having his nose broken.

The band recently announced that they are working on a new record, a followup to 2000's Astray.
