Billboard is reporting that the five original members of Devo have regrouped for an album titled Devo 2.0. The band will record the songs with vocals provided by a quintet of kids.

The album, set for a March 17th release via Disney Sound, is said to include many of their "hits", including the classic "Whip It", as well as two new originals, entitled "Cyclops" and "The Winner". The album will be accompanied by a DVD of live and animated videos directed by bassist and co-founder Gerry Casale.

Since Devo became somewhat inactive after their last album, Smooth Noodle Maps in 1990, Casale has directed a number of music videos, most famously for Foo Fighters, while singer/keyboardist and co-founder Mark Mothersbaugh saw success writing and producing music for children's programs, most famously for Nikelodeon's Rugrats, and was the composer for the third season of Dawson's Creek.
