The Arrogant Sons of Bitches have announced details on the release of the long-delayed, long-awaited proper followup to 2000's Pornocracy. While put on indefinite delay this past October, Three Cheers for Disappointment will be officially released January 17th and will be available at the band's merch store and at CD release shows.

The album was produced by Stephen Foote and band member Jeff Rosenstock, mastered by veteran Alan Douches, and will feature guest vocals from Big D and the Kids Table's Dave McWayne, particularly on the track "Disappointment at the Taco Bell."

The first 1000 copies will include CD-rom extras, including MP3s of Three Cheers for Demos, which was the band's first attempt at recording the album in July 2003, as well as This Is What You Get, the band's out-of-print all-cover live album.

The band has a few CD release shows around the tri-state area planned in support.

Band members have kept busy recently with various projects. Bomb the Music Industry! released two free-for-download albums over the course of 2005, those being February's Album Minus Band and October's mini-album To Leave or Die in Long Island, with plans to release a forthcoming President's Day split 7" with Rick Johnson through Asbestos Records in the works. Keyboardist/vocalist JT Sprout released solo material under the Jay Tea moniker on a Threw Away Your demo.
