Hellcat Records has finally posted confirmation that they will be behind the release of the upcoming Westbound Train record. In the recent Epitaph newsletter, two other new bands were quietly confirmed as having signed with the Tim Armstrong helmed imprint. These include the Heart Attacks (who recently released Heart Scissor Killers on Brand Name Records) and California's Time Again. The newsletter reveals several label updates:

The Heart Attacks (produced by Lars Frederiksen) Time Again, The Aggrolites, Westbound Train and Mercy Killers are all finishing off recording their new full lengths for Hellcat. The Nekromantix are writing material for a brand new record for a fall 2006 release.

We've got news about Roger Miret and The Disasters hitting the road with the Ducky Boys and Far From Finished starting in March! The HorrorPops begin a headline tour run and will join up with the Dropkick Murphys tour for a bunch of shows including the BIG ONE on St Pats Day, March 17th, in Boston. Tiger Army will be appearing in Anaheim for 4 shows 2/2-2/5 at House Of Blues and also at San Diego H.O.B. (2/10-2/11). The Unseen are heading to Europe for shows with Sick Of It All and will be coming back to the U.S. to support Anti Flag in the spring.

Of the label's new crop of bands, Westbound Train, the Aggrolites and Mercy Killers all previously appeared on 2004's Give 'Em The Boot Volume IV compilation. As previously reported Westbound Train's 2004 release Five To Two is also being reissued this year via Montreal's Stomp Records.
