The Reason are set to begin recording with producer Gavin Brown. Brown, a Juno-awarding winning producer is also responsible for Billy Talent and the forthcoming full length from that band.

The band plans to enter the studio on February 1st, 2006 with a release expected in June of this year via Smallman.

Since the 2004 release of Ravenna, The Reason has been touring with Strung Out, Bane, Comeback Kid, No Use For A Name and Murphy's Law.
