Well today I was paying my regular visit to Punkmusic.com and one of the articles there had something to do with a new online sort of 'music community' where people all over the world can share MP3's. Well I checked it out, and the results were indeed quite impressive! How it works is, you download the software that allows you to connect, you have the option of simply connecting, but there's also the option to open up an area of your computer for "sharing". That's basically how the whole thing manages to work. Millions of people who use the service, open 'their' directories to others, this sort of adds to the napster library so to speak. What napster does is lets you search the network of 'users' for MP3's 'you' want. And then you can download em' without a hitch. Of all the MP3's I tried, NONE were down or didn't work! And it even has specialized chat areas specified for different types of music, where likers of the same genre can talk/exchange MP3's. And there is no security hazards or anything like that, so you can rest easy, that you wont get viruses and other malicious things through using it. So head on over to Napster.com and download it now!
