This February Los Angeles' White Flag will head to Europe for a tour of Italy. The band is continuing their "23rd Anniversary Magical World Misery Tour" which has seen the veteran band play in such diverse locations as Greenland (headlining the annual Asiaat Nipia Rock Festival north of the Arctic Circle), Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Alaska and Finland. The band will release the limited edition 8 song 10" vinyl album Piangi Con Me on RARO! Records to commemorate the tour.

On the tour the band will give away a guitar signed by White Flag's Pat Fear and the Germs' Pat Smear. The guitar was used during Smear's time with the Foo Fighters (both on tour and in the studio). This continues years of projects between members the two bands. Most recently Fear served as a technical advisor (along with the three original Germs) on the currently in production Germs biopic What We Do Is Secret.

White Flag's line up for the tour will include Pat Fear and Doug Graves (who founded the band in 1982), Kim Crimson and El Swe (who've each spent 12 years in the act) as well as the return of the band's second drummer Victor M. Surrounded, who has not performed with White Flag since first year together. After further globetrotting the band will convene to record a new full length, their first since 2003's Eternally Undone. White Flag intends to create an "anti governmental corruption concept album" titled Spy vs. Spy vs. Spy vs. Spy vs. Spy.
