Asian Man Records has announced two new future projects. In May the label will release a record from Chiba, Japan's all girl punk quartet Akiakane. The band has previously released material on Einstein Records in their home country. The specifics of their Asian Man debut have yet be announced.

Later in the year the label will also release a full length from San Jose based indie / punk four piece Shinobu. The record will follow up their Let's Go Records released Herostratus vs. Time. The band expects a long talked about split 7" with November Trails to see the light of day sometime soon as well.
