This March the Echo in Los Angeles' Echo Park neighbourhood will play host to four weekly "Hellcat Records Nights." Each of the four scheduled shows will feature an acoustic set from label cornerstone Rancid, some of their new label mates and special guests. Tuesday, March 7th will feature Left Alone and Society's Parasites. The 14th will guest the Aggrolites and Orange. The Tuesday after includes Time Again and Los Difuntos. The shows wrap up on the 28th with Mercy Killers and Los Creepers. A flyer for the event is online now.

Rancid has been mostly off the road since the time of their most recent release, 2003's Indestructible. Three of the band's four members have been active in several other acts though: Tim Armstrong in the Transplants, Lars Frederiksen with the Bastards and Matt Freeman touring with Social Distortion.
