Washington D.C.-based label Dischord has posted some updates for February. The label has a number of projects in the works for the year.

First, Channels, which includes producer/Jawbox frontman J. Robbins, Janet Morgan and Darren Zentek have completed their full-length which is expected sometime this year on the label.

The label will also be releasing a record from Soccer Team, a new collaboration fronted by Ryan Nelson (Routineers, ex-Beauty Pill, ex-Most Secret Method) and Melissa Quinley.

The Evens, which includes legendary punk/hardcore pioneer Ian MacKaye and Amy Farina of The Warmers, spent January working on new material for the follow up to their debut, The Evens and hope to begin recording soon.

Fugazi bassist Joe Lally, who had been working with Decahedron and John Fruscanti has started writing and performing solo sets and recently played a handful of shows with Don Zientara along the east coast. Joe has also been recording and hopes to release an album of this material in the future.
